Last Lecture of Prof. Randy Pausch

Professor Randy Pausch was an American professor of computer science and human-computer interaction and design at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was told by the doctors that he is remaining three to six months of good health.In his last lecture title as "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" he talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals.

Pausch died from pancreatic cancer on July 25, 2008 at the age of 47.

At Last Watched Transformers 2

Yesterday with some of friends i watched Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen at Majestic City.

It was really great action packed movie that should really watch. I think they had increased the action scene in the latest Transformer movie than the first one.

Although some people say that the latest one is not better than the previous movie i think it is not true although there is some increase of some crude and sexual material still anyone can enjoy the action & comedy stuffs in the film.

Although i haven't found any torrent of the film i will post a web site that does have some links to watch this film online.

i still can't believe it... when i saw the CNN news about King of Pop death.I really liked his songs and it was a shock to hear the news that King of Pop Michael Jackson left this world for ever saying goodbye to all the fans of his around the globe.

Michael Joseph Jackson who was born in August 29, 1958 have invaded the pop world by his five solo studio albums are among the world's best-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).

You are now in a better place Michael & rest In Peace.Although you will be missed but your music will live on forever in this world.

Great Sri Lankan comedian Annesley Dias Farewell to the Nation

Annesley Dias, a great comedian Sri Lanka have ever produced, passed away on June 12th. He was 81 years at his death. Annesley, a versatile comedian, not only made his audiences laugh, but also really happy.

He became popular as Hamu Mahaththaya in the Vinoda Samaya radio drama.

Later, he acted roles in several television programs.Anesley Dias engaged mostly in comic dramas with Berty Goonathilaka and Samuel Rodrigo, also with Mercy Edirisingha.

I have attached one of YouTube videos that i came across that was telecasted in early 90's. I really like those sinhala comedies of Anesley Dias, Berty Goonathilaka and Samuel Rodrigo triple when i was a child and still feel the feeling when i watched these old videos.

So it's very sad day for all the fans of this grate comedian....

What amazing Rap grate work DeLon.MIA is exposed to the world about what she truly represents.

The original video of M.I.A. Paper Planes Diss By DeLon have been removed by the youtube i don't know why? It says that "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by a third party." it is really shame to see nice rap video like that been removed.

it's very hard to find this video these days so when i searching i got this video that has been uploaded by someone but i am not sure when they are going to remove it too.

New E-learning system in Sri Lanka (www.webceylon.com)

Today i got a email probably a spam email from a person call Chatura Perera about a web site call webceylon.com, because of my curiosity i checked the web site and found that it is a new E-learning system for Sri Lankan students.

Although this web site state that this is the Sri Lanka first video based Sinhala and English E-learning system, i do not agree with it because there are some web site such as kuppiya.com that have entered to the cyberspace before webceylon.com.

There are lot of improvement is needed to webceylon.com web site that is allowing people to go through download section without registering.Because normally people are reluctant to register because it is time consuming and do not wish to give away there details to unknown people.

At the moment this E-learning system only have few basic video tutorial probably because it's new to cyberspace.
It's grate to see that the videos can be streamed through this web site but it will be fabulous if there is a facility to download videos also.

So at the end i can only say that if you a person who are searching for video tutorials this is going to be good spot for you in the future.
